Getting Around
We rented a car because we were traveling outside of Panama City for some of our trip, but we used Uber to get from our hotel, Plaza Paitilla, to Casco Viejo and it was about $3! Super cheap! As far as driving yourself, BE CAREFUL! There are so so SO many cars on the road in the city and sometimes it felt like the stop signs and signals were more of a recommendation (nervous laugh) but if you can adapt quickly and be mindful of the speed limits, you will be just fine. Make sure you have money for tolls if you’re traveling outside of the city and stay out of the emergency and bus lanes.
